The Asian Composers League offers three types of memberships by application:
- FULL MEMBERSHIP for bona fide organisations who substantially represent composers from a geographical region
- ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP for all other organisations who uphold the objectives of the ACL
- INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP for individuals who wish to be part of the ACL
The ACL also has a roll of HONORARY MEMBERS, who are nominated by Full Members and approved by the General Assembly, and the EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE who oversee the running of the League, and are voted on by the General Assembly.
