IZUMI MIYOSHI graduated from the Toho Gakuen School of Music where she majored in piano. She has been a staff of the Japan Federation of Composers (JFC) since 1992 and has helped organized the ACL Festivals in 2000, 2003, 2010 and 2014. She is currently a lecturer at the Toho Gakuen School of Music and the Secretary-General of the JFC.
