Mrs Reiko Takahashi Irino (d. 2022) was a music educator, composer and organizer of exchanges and lectures. She graduated from TOHO Gakuen School of Music (faculty of composition) and was a professor at the University of Creation in Takasaki, where she taught music theory and solfege. She also taught composition at TOHO, Tokyo College of Music, and was the director of the NPO JML Music Institute Tokyo and president of the Irino Prize International Composers Competition.
